DEBRIS and Water Level: 

Please check your skimmers and water level routinely! Water level should be high enough for skimmers to suction in debris off top of the pool.

 In-Pool Vacuums: In-pool vacuums need to be at work!

​

Keeping your lawn in check: Please ensure your lawn is not getting put into your pool. As the weather warms up, any type of debris from fresh cut grass or so on that gets into your pool will make a perfect situation for your pool to turn green!  

​

Tab Floats: PoolSharks is not putting tabs in skimmers or salt pools. So, please make sure to have a tab float on hand so that we can add tabs to your pool. 

​

Floats and Toys: Please remove all floats, toys, chairs, whatever it may be, from the pool once the pool is not being swam in. These items collect debris, bugs, etc.. Having a place to store these items as well will help us remove them if need be and place them in their home. 

​

SKIMMERS: Be sure to check your skimmers routinely! 

​

Weekly maintenance includes:

​

1. Maintain proper water balance (chlorine, pH, alkalinity, calcium hardness, conditioner level, and salt if applicable.)

2. Empty baskets weekly and back wash filters as needed.

3. Brush tile, walls and steps as needed. Vacuum and net as needed.

4. Maintain a written record of the service visit. (Available through App)

5. Service report after each visit detailing work done and problems noted. (Available through App)

Note: Pool Sharks Cleaning reserves the right to skip up to four (4) weeks of service per year (Due to vacations, holidays and/or sick days). Please note that 4 months of the year have 5 weeks that you are not being billed for.

 

 Pool Timers and Salt !!

SUMMER: Pool Timers will be turning to run at daytime

WINTER: Pool Timers will be turning to run at nighttime

SALT POOLS!!!

 

Salt is billed separately or at the cost of the customer.

Please have a tab float on hand for the winter season! We will be putting chlorine tabs in floaters.

What are PoolSharks policies and how do we bill for green pools?

 

If your pool turns green, you should receive a message letting you know we must see your pool daily.  (green to clear process is a daily stop with chemical adjusting, vacuuming, etc.)

 

Things you will see being billed:

Green to Clear Pool Service Stop Rate: $25+ a stop

Chemicals: are marked at market value

Salt: $13 a bag

Filter Cleaning: $75

 

It can take up to 15+ stops to get a pool completely clear.

 

We do bill for a green pool. It depends on what is happening with your account that decides how we bill. To not have any confusion or alarms once we bill you for your green pool, I have included a lay out below for you to read!

 

 

Clarification :

 

CUSTOMER IS BILLED FOR A GREEN TO CLEAR WHEN:

The pool was green at the beginning of services, your lawn maintenance got grass in the pool, a pump failing, no water in the pool, no circulation, poor filtration, past due invoices, you have been skipped for services, if you have just signed up for services within the last 3 months, and it has turned back to green after we got it cleared:

THEN, You will be invoiced at $25+ per stop for a green to clear service!

 

WE SEE GREEN POOLS DAILY UNTIL CLEAR!

 

CUSTOMER WILL NOT BE BILLED FOR A GREEN TO CLEAR WHEN:

our team has not put in the correct chemicals at the time of last service to the time of the pool turning green, no service stop made or no makeup stop made: You will not be billed for a green to clean. 

 

 

 

KNOW MORE ABOUT SKIPPED SERVICES!

 

POOLSHARKS only skips services when:

 

Your account has a past due invoice

Rain/weather conditions

 

POOLSHARKS reschedules skipped services due to weather conditions for the next serviceable day.
